Gabrielle grew up with an adventurous spirit in the San Francisco Bay Area, climbed Mt. Whitney as a teenager, cycled from San Francisco to Los Angeles, swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco, competed in numerous endurance sports, including marathons, ironman triathlons and adventure races. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Law from Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga and worked for many years in law firms in the bay area. Since moving to Oregon in 2007, Gabrielle received her 200 RYT Yoga Certification and began teaching yoga in the Portland Metro Area for 24 Hour Fitness, Boom Fitness, THPRD, and the City of Hillsboro. She also received her Taekwondo First Degree Black Belt (Under the guidance of Grand Master Kim, 7th Degree Black Belt, 1992 Olympic Gold Medalist and Five Time World Champion). She currently teaches yoga in corporate fitness centers and wellness programs for leading corporations. She is continuing her education in the Gertongology Program at Portland Community College to further her passion to change how we look at aging. Now, Gabrielle is a Wellness Consultant and Aging Specialist and recently added a focus on Cognitive and Behavioral Care. She and her husband Ed and their daughter Cadence (and Australian Shepherds Cheyanne, Dakota and Shawnee) are playing in the Pacific Northwest and call Portland, Oregon home.
